Professor Sally Varnham 

Faculty of Law at the University of Technology Sydney 

Professor Sally Varnham was Chair of the University Academic Board from 2011 to 2014 and remains a member of the UTS Council.  Her books (with others) are ‘Higher Education and the Law’ (Federation Press, 2015) and ‘Law for Educators: School and University Law in Australia’ (LexisNexis, 2007).

Professor Varnham was a Chief Investigator for an Australian Learning and Teaching Council grant, ‘Student Grievances and Discipline Matters’.  She currently leads an Office for Learning and Teaching Strategic Priority Commissioned Project ‘Student Engagement in University decision-making and governance – towards a more inclusive student voice’ and her main drive is to engage all of the sector in a ‘student voice’ conversation.
